Putting in new interior doors and base trim....is their a rule as to how to choose sizes....home total 1500 sq. ft.

    I'm not sure what you mean. Size of baseboard trim? We make baseboard heater covers. The trim should terminate a full 0.5" short of the copper pipe if you have hot water baseboard heaters.
