Textured or Smooth for Interior and Exterior Doors

We will be replacing our interior and exterior doors, trim and baseboards. The baseboards will be smooth and clean lined as will the trim. I want to go with the Craftman style doors, what would look best smooth or textured. The paint will be a cool white for the interior doors and undecided on the exterior doors.

Do not understand the question "smooth or textured". What are you trying to describe using the word "textured"?

    I should have said woodgrained.

I didn't think it through. It made obvious sense later and thanks for the reply I will go smooth.

If you are painting the doors white, smooth is the way to go.
