The existing primary bathroom did not provide adequate space for our client, so we developed a series of design solutions to maximize functionality. To expand the shower area, we removed a bookshelf niche that extended into the shower from the adjacent room and incorporated that footprint into a new walk-in tiled shower. We also specified a wall-hung toilet to reduce the fixture’s footprint and increase clearance in front of the vanity. Additionally, a wall-mounted faucet was selected, allowing us to reduce the vanity depth by several inches and provide additional standing room. Overall, this primary bathroom renovation delivered the enhanced space and refined design aesthetic our client desired.
