This remodel consisted of a 10' by 10' addition in a rear corner of the home. Fortunately, the existing master bath was located in that same corner. The shower area (10' by 10') included a Kohler DTVII system with ambient rain ceiling unit. This unit, in conjunction with the DTVII control panel, creates several different environment scenarios with moving lights and sound. The system integrates with the home network allowing for music and media access through waterproof flat-tile speakers. The system also has an instant-on dual steam generator for the steam shower. In addition, there are two areas within the shower for individual showering. With all jets and shower heads operational, the shower uses about 19 gallons of hot water per minute. A large hot water heating system is a must.
