Our client is a Multi-generation Family who bought a two storey corner terrace @ Jalan Pemimpin. Coming from a Chinese and Peranakan Family, and being Catholics, the client would like the identity of the house to reflect their roots. A place of rest and respite.

Our design is a modern interpretation of the Peranakan house – in modern cottage style. The use of traditional elements - basic geometry forms such as Arches and traditional material such as terrazzo flooring, Rattans for decorative surfaces and Ventilation blocks as walls - coupled with modern streamline design of the interior creates a fusion of modern and tradition, and fills the air of the house with a fresh nostalgic feel.
