This is a 4" x 16" glazed ceramic tile from Lea Ceramiche and I wouldn't recommend it for floors. If you do find a thru-body porcelain tile you like in a larger format, they are generally easy to cut down to the desired size and simply polish the cut edge. It is a little more labor but the finished edge of the tile looks good.
