Do you like this overall feel for the room? The ceiling reminds me of yours and obviously we would choose a smaller headboard but I really like the overall cozy feel of this room while still feeling modern and lux.

Ignore the lights, but I think that wall color, tufted bed and overall color scheme might be what you are looking for. The walls have color but are still light enough and I would add an accent color of mustard to achieve your gray, white, and mustard color scheme.
