style; location

Q

Photo

love the screened in porch

Q

Photo

good placement of kitchen/dining table and living room

Q

Photo

widow size, number and placement

Q

Photo

modern woodsy look

Q

Photo

the rustic look

Q

Photo

love color; that only part of the home has a second floor

Q

Photo

roof line; studio; in the woods

Q

Photo

this is how we could add a small deck to part of the upper level; upper windows too big for a cold climate

Q

Photo

upper deck

Q

Photo

clean look; windows too big for a cold climate

Q

Photo

modern bedroom

Q

Photo

small home office

Q

Photo

roof and two story

Q

Photo

Awesome! Add upper deck!

Q

Photo

like they style and combo of materials. good mix of light, med and dark. like the black window frame. clean lines

Q

Photo

overhang

Q

Photo

This could work for our floorplan of upper master with stairs and windows out the back side, an entrance into master like this with bathroom on one side of hall and closet and sitting room on the other?

Q

Photo

like the design and materials. It looks balanced; not too light or dark

Q

Photo

that there are rooms behind the kitchen, along with the entry. second bedroom and half bath could go behind the kitchen on the left

Q

Photo

like the big windows (but not full length) and the size (cozy). Ceiling height is ok

Q

Photo

exterior; deck style both upper and main; could do one, slanted roof

Q

Photo

like the deck material and both upper/lower decking; can see this being a single, metal roof sloping back behind the house

Q

Photo

bedroom facing lake;bathroom behind; big windows. No overhead beams, though.

Q

Photo

like modern look of deck and railing

Q

Photo

like the look of the wood and metal railing; very clean

Q

Photo

stackable washer/dryer and storage

Q

Photo

like the open stairs that let light pass through

Q

Photo

like the decking look; modern and streamlined and easy to see through to the view

Q

Photo

roof slope; two story; but don't like that there's no overhang - this looks weird

Q

Photo

same home as the "roof slope" pics. Like how open and bright it feels, yet the second floor doesn't make the main floor feel oppresive

Q

Photo

a little dark because of the wood ceiling, but this ceiling height is good, even though the ceiling is wood. like the clerestory windows facing the view.

Q

Photo

like the design, but the materials might be too rustic

Q

Photo

like the covered entry and the design. like that there are windows, but they aren't floor to ceiling.

Q

Photo

like the deck and railing style - would like a more durable material than wood with less upkeep

Q

Photo

like the covered upper deck; would want a different style railing/decking

Q

Photo

Like this feel! Like ceiling height (even though wood and beams, it doesn't feel oppressive - maybe its the lighter floor color and big windows)

Q

Photo

like the blend of materials (lighter wood, concrete, metal and stone - fits nicely with the landscape) more than the style; too much window though.

Q

Photo

Example of windows not being big enough. Feels blah. Maybe it's the white walls and the wood ceiling.

Q

Photo

open shelves

Q

Photo

windows not big enough, but like the open shelves. The white feels cold vs warm and welcoming

Q

Photo

Too dark-needs more windows but like the open shelves and countertops

Q

Photo

stacked washer dryer and more storage since we'd have no basement

Q

Photo

like windows; wall behind the headboard; could do bathroom behind that wall; don't like the upper window - rather remove that non-standard size and keep it simple.

Q

Photo

like the window in the shower as the shower stalls are often too dark. Materials here feel too cold.

Q

Photo

ceiling height is good, too. not too high, not too low. like the mix of concrete floors, wood and metal. seems it's ok to have wood on ceiling, if the floors/walls aren't wood also; windows are too big.

Q

Photo

This feels so restful.Like that the outside is stylish, too. a little wood and stone and metal; like the amount of overhang

Q

Photo

cool, retro stove.

Q

Photo

kitchen wall in middle of space (could put laundry, half bath and guest bedroom/den on the other side to keep all pipes on the interior and in the same general area). ceiling would be lower if we have a two story.

Q

Photo

decent kitchen layout for a smaller footprint. Like the sink on island. way too much wood (no ceiling wood). Would bump the island out from the left wall so there could be seating there facing out the front )ha! see next photo - the island is bumped out from the wall)

Q

Photo

view from kitchen. Could adjust island placement/shape to have bar seats that face toward the view.

Q

Photo

big windows in kitchen; like the creative dining table.

Q

Photo

Like the two-sided island seating, but way too much wood and ceiling is too low. Like that there are a lot of windows, and the windows aren't too big or floor to ceiling.

Q

Photo

don't like the style. the window by the chair is too high and you can't see out while sitting. like the number of windows. Design is important and something about this is unappealing.

Q

Photo

roof line that offers second story in front (would want deck and an overhang for passive solar). Also like the side building - this could be an entry or if larger it could be a three season space.

Q

Photo

could do a small three season room on this side and a mud room on the other?

Q

Photo

small entryway; needs more practical storage space

Q

Photo

like the cozy feel, even though it's a lot of wood.

Q

Photo

like this, even though it's wood. nice stove in corner,, high windows and ceiling and window seat. If window seat, need a VERY comfy, thick cushion.

Q

Photo

like roof slope but want a second floor; need more windows

Q

Photo

roof slope with a second floor; not enough windows

Q

Photo

like the deck railing look/materials. Looks comfy, even though there's a lot of wood

Q

Photo

like the big windows looking out from kitchen. Don't like the shelf in front of the window. seems weird.

Q

Photo

roof slope; two stories with an upper deck; like the deck railing materials and look; like the color of the exterior

Q

Photo

like the materials. could be a small bathroom with walk-in shower/toilet/double sink. don't want a tub

Q

Photo

like materials and how it blends with the woods

Q

Photo

Love this placement of the 3 season, especially if this was on the south side of the house and didn't block views or block window space!

Q

Photo

Love this, with maybe a sloping roof? Upper master. Want deck off upper floor.

Q

Photo

love this entry, color, this is our place with a few modifications

Q

Photo

oh, looks so cool

Q

Photo

love this. clerestory, nice living room size; great front windows. Feels warm, relaxing and welcoming.

Q

Photo
Photo

like this feel; would want another window to the right of the fireplace.

Q

Photo

like the window height above the floor

Q

Photo

bright space; window placement in kitchen; if island had chairs on the right, could have view out toward bay

Q

Photo

good size and good light. like that its a double sink, big window, glass-walled walk in shower and no tub. Like the mix of materials/colors. The rustic wood looks cool, but it's not overdone. Very well done!

Q

Photo

interesting small bath; shower is too small. Like the window and how light/bright it is.

Q

Photo

ceiling height (spacious, but not so high)

Q

Photo

window height (big, but not all the way to the floor)
