Staggered hooks with round heads in two sizes bring movement to this serene neutral entryway in Los Altos, California. The space, by 360 design studio, combines shelving below a long bench with vertical and horizontal cabinetry to keep items from migrating into the posh space beyond.

JHL Design gave this Portland, Oregon, entryway a refined lodge feel with Scandinavian-style elements. Pale celadon beadboard and curated decor elevate the rustic wood bench and shelving, while antlers, a deer-print pillow and a hat hinting at outdoor exploration firmly establish the lodge theme. Most of the storage is hidden to allow the decor to star, but below-bench niches and baskets make offloading footwear easy.
