This is how I saved a little money. 2-24" Liebherr Free-standing bottom freezer units together. True counter-depth. They come with a trim piece for the center. Looks great. If one goes on the fritz, you always have another one. The right unit has a built in ice maker. P1090008.JPG

mamadada - I would definitely suggest proceeding with it if you are generally not turned off as others have expressed with the combination. We were very hesitant to proceed with the white kitchen cabinets after the conversations on this thread, but we ended up choosing "Sleek White" for our cabinet color and grecian marble from home depot for the backsplash. We are extremely happy with the way everything turned out, as it was by far the most cost effective way to remodel our kitchen and achieving the look we wanted. Overall, I think the granite gets lost and the backsplash and white cabinets are where the focus goes. Here are a few photos, and please excuse the lighting, I took these in a rush. Would love to know everyone's thoughts.
