I like the use of the framed pegboard but would not choose a gilded frame.

This is a sweet, cozy little space for scrapbooking or creating altered art or handmade cards. Everything is at your fingertips and the studio even has a pass-through to the kitchen. This room shows that everything does not have to be matchy-matchy and you don't have to wait until you can buy everything you need at once. This room has been created over time; I see white-painted vintage furniture, black and white modern storage pieces from big box stores, and even plastic drawer units. I like this a lot.

I like this room, in general, but the grasscloth wallcovering is not pleasing to my eye. It appears that the strips covering the fireplace breast has been applied in different directions (the nap/one-way direction) which detracts from its appearance.

Good use of knee walls in upstairs rooms such as "bonus" rooms which are found in many new floor plans. The column going to a bump-out is an unusual, but attractive detail; it serves no structural purpose - it's just a nice architectural accent. I believe I'd paint the ceiling areas the same color as the wall; it would be more harmonious and let your eyes flow over the space instead of stopping repeated at every sharp edge.

I like the blend of blues and soft whites in this bright, sunny workspace. For office or scrapbooking or sewing, this would be a pleasant room in which to work for several hours at a time.
