This is perfect for the eat in space near the back end of our home near the laundry space. The counter is used as backing to seating and cuts out my urge to want to place stools. Also is easier to set out food for the family at dinner time instead of the back and forth. The counter functions as a useable 'spread' space and clean up surface to place plates and not walk with them. - Ayana
