Love that it is still open to the family area, but has some division and privacy. Can entertain with easy access to the kitchen, and people don't have to see the prep area and dirty dishes in the sink.

Coffered inset ceiling. Would prob be cheaper than than a full coffered ceiling. Love the crown, and paint and floor colors. Open to eating area but not visible from great room
