DYLAN TAN
The concept ‘Close to nature’ is derived from my strong belief that every happy family’s relationship starts when the children are in their early childhood stage. My design concept is a functional space where it encourages family interaction. The definition of a family ritual is what connects us humans together doing an activity. My goal is to build strong family relationships through my design space.
The coffee table that I’ve developed is a adjustable table that creates more space when needed. The design encourages the parents and kids to work/play together as it has different surface height levels to suit their size. It comes with many storage opportunities to store books, toys, games, etc. Creating an anchor point for connection in a family ritual.
