DESIGN THEME
The design theme adopted in the home is a sleek yet playful modern home. The design is largely inspired by a Scandinavian house. The elements in the house are varied and dynamic, creating an energetic home that meshes a variety of different feature together to create a home that is snug as well as chic.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Minimalistic with a taste of a different kind of rustic, they offer modern elegance with a twist. All unstructured walls are stripped down to the minimum to create an open plan that brightens up the house. Lush plants life joins with simple slatted windows and rough-shod wood. Low, flat lines in expansive, muted wall and floor colour show a more down to earth design. Coloured pieces of furniture adds an element of fun to the house. Warm lighting flows upon curved seating, twisted and turned for the sake of innovation.
LIVING AREA
The living area consist of five areas – the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, an exercise area and an area for the owners to have their guests. Upon entry, people are greeted with an abstract wall art frame, which adds a sense of creativity to the design. The similar abstract design can be seen on the dining table frame and the TV console design. A grand piano is placed in the middle of the hall to add a depth of classiness o the house. Muted tone of grey, white and wood make up the walls and floors. coloured pieces of furniture makes the house livelier and fun.
the kitchen overlooks the living area and the exercise corner, allowing the parents to overlook the entire living area while doing their chores. The guest entertainment area has a coffee table and a soccer table where the adults can have a chat while the kids have their fun. Lighting design is also used to emphasize the spaces. Cove lighting to create warm dining area.
An open floor plan is used that helps to brighten the house. The colour scheme of the kitchen and dining area complements the living area, ensuring the use of colours is effective in enlivening the space instead of being too overwhelming.
Colours are an important element to any room but it should not be awfully clashing or bright. The colour scheme is warm and comforting, adds a pop of colour to the house without being to much in the eye.
Uncovered windows goes well with the white ceiling, walls and timber components to give the illusion of space which also lets in ample natural lighting to brighten in interior.

The dining room is the heart of every home, and this home staple is made fun and unique with different coloured chairs. The table is perfectly cantered to allow easy movement within the space.
A wall for home owners to display their proud moments with a washed lighting casting against the textured wall. Plants are placed along the corners to soften the edges.
Marble and wood finishes used to give a sleek finish. The end tables are a good fit, as they conform to the design without being too boring.
MASTER ROOM
The master bedroom boasts a huge area hence the room is designed on a to the luxurious side while still building the theme. Upon entry, the first area is a platform for the couple to dress up. A grey dressing table with wall shelves to provide ample storage to keep things neat and tidy. The bed leans against an accent wall with bold, abstract geometric lines which complements the hexagonal plan of the room. The accessories are very important to the room the geometric wall painting and flower pots, the fur carpet and the coloured pillows.
A lush rug and Scandinavian style sofa makes for a luxurious space to recline and relax. A furry carpet and throw pillows are a stylish element that makes the area extra warm and cosy.
A feature wall with a geometric frame design adds an element of fun and interest to the bedroom, while the use of natural wood materials gives the bedroom the warm aesthetic it needs.
The walk-in closet provides the owners with shelves and drawers for different privacy-level belonging. Glass door is used so that it could be seen from the outside of the closet- the walk-in closet is usually one’s pride and most favourite place of the house
A dressing area for the mother of the house to dress up and have some time to herself. White cabinets and dressers contrast the blue wall, make the space more enclosed and private. Wall shelves for further storage and display.
STUDY ROOM
The study room is an important aspect of the home as it is where work and play meets. The working area is elevated to give the parents a clear view of the children while they are doing their work. The steps are 500mm wide, which is adequate as a seating area that allows parent-children time. There is a large open space for the children to play. A comfortable lush sofa is provided for the user of the house to have some rest after a long day of working or studying.
Material Board for Study Room:Black steel frame is used to frame the views of the beautiful cityscape the house enjoys. While light wood tiles are used to brighten the room, and give a warm aesthetic.
The white wall contrasts the grey walls places emphasis on the main work space, which also brightens up the area suited for work and study.
CHILD’S ROOM
The play area of the child is placed at the side of the window, making it a good place for the child who would be spending most of the time in the area.
The custom build-in wardrobe tucks perfecting into the corner of the room which provides storage space for the child. The colours of the wardrobe is also made sure to complement the room.
The blue wall gives the room the pop of colour to make the room more cosy suited for a child. A cosy beanbag placed beside the bed for the parent to sing the child to sleep at night.
The custom geometric design desk, which is similar to the one in the living room, adds an element of fun and playfulness to the scheme. Geometric design used complements the design feature frame wall in the master and living room as well.
The pink wall gives the room the pop of colour to make the room more cosy suited for a child. A night light and book shelf located beside the bed for the child to have a Storytime before going to sleep.
