Robynney love your kitchen cabinets the wood looks beautiful, hatch through to pantry is a great idea too. Is that the cooktop poked into the corner of the bench though? Looks very awkward to access! The shelving above the dining area in the huge window looks fantastic too, and the vaulted ceilings with the beams.

I will never do hardwoods in the kitchen again! Maintenance is too great. Always ice on the floor, sticky spills and things i need to clean-up with water. Not good for hardwoods. I'd go with tile or fabricated wood that can take take water every day if I could do it over. Also i went with counter-depth refrigerator (for looks) but it doesn't

have enough space. Always struggling to find room in the fridge and there's only two of us!

Kitchen Magic

Pergo (laminate) is a great material for floors but for kitchens, there are 20"x7" tile planks that look like wood.
