The swimming pool and spa needed to combine a relaxed tropical resort ambience with luxury, sophistication, privacy and tranquillity. Located within a ‘Tourism’ planning zone, permission was required from the local council for the proposed curved roof of the house and bold design of the swimming pool - design features far removed from the straight lines used for other properties in the area.
