Alexandria Front Yard

When I pulled up to the house, I immediately knew we'd be working together. Anyone with a six foot long Cor-Ten steel sculpture of a dog in their front yard was going to be a fun client. To complement the cool colors of this beautiful Craftsman home, I selected a deep gunmetal gray flagstone called Westmoreland Stone for the walkway. The walls are a traditional stacked fieldstone. All the grass was removed from the front yard and replaced with a mix of shrubs, perennials, and liriope spicata groundcover for ease of maintenance. Any time I'm in the area I can't help but drive by!
