Ann's living room and dining room

The dining room waspreviously papered with large floral cabbage rose paper in pink, with Austian valances of the matching fabric and fussy sheers of lace to cover the curved window. The carpet was the same deep pink of the livingroom. Much too dated for a young sporty widow in her new life.
I painted the walls in a Faux finish cocoa color with hints of gold. The ceiling is one of the shades of coffee in the faux painting finish, with a medalion added to the chandelier...the color of the trim. I added silk shades to the chandelier for detail. The carpet is the same rich cream twist style used in the livingroom. The drapery panels are a lucious blue embroidery with gold and blue tassles on an antique gold decorative rod.
We kept the existing furniture because the budget did not allow for replacement, but I recovered the white seat with a fabric that coordinated with the blue drapery panels...
