Area 19 Kitchen

This custom kitchen was created in by tearing out two bedrooms at the rear 1950's addition of a 1907 home in Seattle's Central Area. The custom kidney shaped island is the focus of this eclectic and colorful design, complete with LED pendant lights made from repurposed colanders. The granite was salvaged from a house being torn down. Cabinets are alder used in a shaker style with red and orange aniline dyed inset panels. A tile back splash wraps the walls using a man-made dark gray field tile with small, red glass tile accents. Tile and stone by Chris Rogers. Cabinets by Jon Taylor. Louise Lakier
