A study nook is created in the connection zone between the original old home and the new pavilion extension. It is possible to get out to the deck from this space too, and there is a bathroom located here. This means guests can walk straight through front door, into home, and outside ... and can come in from outside easily to use the toilet (without going through private areas of the home). This study zone can be used with easy supervision of what is going on elsewhere.
