We created multi-layered specialty treatments in many details throughout this home over the years. And re-did them after construction! Steve's impeccable taste and refinement of details were always a joy to work with. His artistic talents went above and beyond what is typically found even in today's design community. Stunning.
Congratulations to Steve for winning yet another ASID Design Award for this project. It's always an honor to play a supportive role in co-creating award-winning spaces.
And finally, I wish to honor the memory of Steve Stein for being so open in the process of collaborating with his artisans. It was he who taught me, "A designer is only as good as his or her resources." So true. Yet it was he who trusted enough to give open space for creative wings to fly. He was so very dear & trusting. You will be greatly missed and always in our hearts, Steve. xo
