Beautiful Transitional Kitchen Remodel Done With New Cabinets

For this kitchen remodeling project, the homeowner was looking to update their kitchen and make it more modern and open. The existing kitchen was very confined and did not give them the space they were wanting. The design that we came up with had us removing the walls that separated the kitchen from the living room to really open up the space. We also added a large central island with pendant lights to emphasize the island and added a special cabinet for the microwave. The island was done in Cherry wood and the rest of the cabinets in white. We put the range on the wall with a hood and cabinets with spice racks on both sides. Next in the dining room, we put a line of cabinets to make a "Coffee Station" space. On the left side we placed a pantry and on the far right a tall cabinet over the counter to store small appliances. In the center we placed a central shelf and as a crown, we placed a line of 20" high wall cabinets. The counters were made in Quartzite and the backsplash in decorative tile. We also added power-strips on the island hidden under the counter. Now these homeowners truly have the kitchen of their dreams.
