Billerica Transitional Kitchen
With the two tones in the kitchen and the two rooms being an open concept, we needed to figure out a way to bring in the wood tone to the painted white cabinets. We decided to do wood shelves to hold decorative items and to be accessible from each room. Lift up shelves for wall cabinets were installed above the shelves to access every space of the kitchen for storage. Since there is an opening between the rooms, standard wall cabinets would not have been able to be installed and the wall above would have been left open. By adding the upper cabinets we took the space we could and and made it a feature of it's own.
