Broken plan kitchen

We are delighted to show you the photos of our favourite broken plan kitchen. The space was originally an awkward kitchen diner, with terrible layout and 0 charm that was making the clients sad to use and reluctant to socialise in, with an old glass lean too that was serving as grim utility, general dumping ground and cutting the connection to the garden. Keeping a tight hold on a, relatively, limited budget and also maintaining the cottage like charm of the house we opted to keep the wall's back house and replace the lean to with a proper extension. We switched round the kitchen, more than doubling the cabinetry, adding in a beautiful range and mod cons like a dishwasher, island for cooking and socialising and utilising the under stairs area as a pantry. There is even a cosy spot for listening to records while someone else cooks! Dining went into the extension, which still feels connected as the window and back door openings give a wonderful sense of space, as well as a storage area and a utility and loo tucked into the side. The clients love this new space, often spending their working day at the table overlooking the garden.
