House 1915 is a historically significant home, and Stage 1 of this design project is centred around preserving and transforming the front portion of the property. Paying careful attention to its heritage listing, the transformation respects the house's architectural legacy while blending modern design elements throughout to create a beautiful and functional home for its Owners. Our scope of work focused on the Entry, Formal Dining, Formal Living, and Master Bedroom. By preserving the original layout of each room, whilst honouring their architectural integrity, we introduced a modern and functional perspective through our curated furniture selection. The end result marries classic design and contemporary style to create a home that is both timeless and practical.

This apartment is within a magnificent Grade II listed building in the heart of Mayfair and renovated by London-based developer Northacre. Intarya were asked to design a show apartment with an interior of ‘Ambassadorial Splendour’, suitable for its discerning potential buyer. Its towering ceilings, tall windows and exquisite mouldings were all faithfully restored by Intarya, with mouldings highlighted in distressed platinum rather than the expected gilding to give the apartment depth and layering whilst also updating the inherent character of the architecture. The scheme was classically inspired using traditional furniture shapes but in modern finishes, textures and colours making them more relevant to today’s market, creating a contemporary-classic fusion. Despite the grand proportions, the spaces feel comfortable and welcoming.

The master bedroom is irresistibly flamboyant with rich hues of blues, abstract prints whether by the wallpaper or rug. Surfaces includes sumptuous velvet curtains, elegant loungers, rocker chairs and bed heads. One of the most exquisite features is the stunning corniced ceiling above.

This London townhouse is packed full of colour and vitality. From the lime green kitchen to the yellow ochre lounge area and magenta games room, the colours lend each room a unique energy and vibrancy. The bathroom is a place of calm in a riot of colours and styles. The classic bathroom products offer effortless style and stand out against the more muted colour palette. The polished Spey bath is our longest and perfect for the large family that the room serves, as is our largest basin the Kinloch and tallest 6 bar towel rail, draped with delightful splashes of colour

The polished metal towel warmers, radiators and glass chandelier enhance the traditional features of this bathroom while the large bespoke ottoman and marble floor add a modern touch. Full length mirrored doors reflect light from the large window behind the elegant marble bath adding to the light and open feel.
