Classic Carlsbad Kitchen

A clean palette of soft grey painted cabinets on the perimeter and a smoky wood stain on the island instantly updated the standard oak builder cabinets that had previously been there. A shaker door with an angled interior edge added a modern touch, a detail reflected in the crown molding, light rail, and furniture base board moldings. Even the white glass subway tile featured an angled along the interior edges, capped by a satin nickel Schluter trim molding around the window. White polished countertops with a touch of glass sparkle under the LED under-cabinet lights. Soft greys and warm wood tones in the engineered wood flooring pull the tones of the cabinets down that extend throughout the first floor of the home. Satin nickel faucets, finishes, fixtures and a white porcelain farm sink complete the modern transformation of this beautiful family home.
