Cosmopolitan French Home designed by Ripple Design Studio, Inc. This remodel has given an aging house the long, healthy life it deserves. The original building envelope, a failed EIFS system beaten by years of wind-driven water, was replaced with a Rain screen stucco system, durable, Low-maintenance materials, and the latest Building science to address its high-exposure waterfront moisture problems. Drop-down screens on the windows allow cool breezes through the home-keeping the interior clean and healthy, and disappearing from view with the lift of a finger. The result is a stately French home that will serve its owners in style and grace for many years to come.
