Crystal Lake Project
This family room features a custom built hydraulic TV/Media console which conceals the equipment when not in use. Commissioned art glass, by Canils Glass of Seattle, adorns the top of the media cabinet. Featured next to the media cabinet is a large mixed media art art piece by the Phoenix Art Group. The coffee table is made of teak and has inlaid woven grass cloth on the arched base and under the glass table top. A contrasting texture to the sheen of the teak wood. A leather sofa faces the TV and is anchored by a handwoven area rug. Wall to wall wool carpet was custom woven and harmonizes with the soft grey walls. Roman shades add privacy but still allow light to filter into the room. The daylight basement family room looks out to a private outdoor hot tub area situated under a garden arbor. Photo by Roger Turk
