Curved granite driveway
This stunning house cannot have a driveway with just concrete pavers. It has to be natural stone. We chose 4"x4" flamed granite pavers in two colors: dark grey and light grey. The pavers are installed over solid concrete, as opposed to base rock only, because we like the feeling that the ground can never move under our feet. The pavers are framed by an 8" wide granite border, made up of pieces up to 4 feet in length which are cut from a slab. This allows a minimum number of cuts and a perfectly shaped curve. The driveway is gently sloped to the street and is beautifully framed by two granite posts.
