Custom Steel and Bamboo Stairs
The stairs in the house are open to allow light and air to filter throughout the house. The display cabinet is a custom made built-in, using the same bamboo plywood as the stairs. The stair stringers are 1" plate steel custom CNC plasma cut for the house. Railings and attachments for the stairs were welded to the stringers, and the stairs themselves are box-section bamboo plywood.
