Decorative pillows made with embroidered towels from Turkey.
My client has a vintage home with beautiful views of her gardens. She wanted to brighten up her kitchen. She has inset lighting installed near the window by the kitchen table. We had new cushions made in a very durable woven spring green fabric. I made pillows out of five embroidered towels that she purchased in Turkey. I made the pillow forms so that the towels would not have to be cut to a standard size. This was such a fun project! The pillows are placed around the banquette and the kitchen table is a happy place.
