This downtown brownstone began as a simple space with no visual interest. A masculine interior design and remodel by Brandi Hagen of Eminent Interior Design updated the home with sophisticated simplicity. The living room combines urban-contemporary home design and eclectic art. It is anchored by an antique hand woven area rug. The white marble fireplace and curved hearth invite warmth of natural stone into the room while the wall of windows is softened with dramatic silk side panels. Blending rich leathers, textured fabrics and light-catching silks achieves a highly personal and inviting conversational space.
