Unlike other forms of visual arts, the space is integral for experiencing sculpture. A three-dimensional work of art can add a stronger presence to a room than a painting or graphic edition. This space offers a dichotomy of two forces: masculine and feminine, yin and yang. The lines in the room are very yang, yet, once the gemstone sculpture of the bear becomes the focal point within the space, an endearing feminine energy offers balance to this home’s atmosphere.
