Earthy Sophisticated Single Family in Alexandria, VA
This young family had a very soothing, yet graphic rug that they wanted to deign the room around. Having a young child and dog, the room needed to be user friendly, yet comfortable and modern enough for the adults to entertain in as well. By pulling the cooler tones from the rug into the leather, and introducing black painted wood and metal accents, the room has a very sophisticated, eclectic, but not too formal vibe.
