If you have a wood block top made for your island be sure to learn about edge cuts, etc. This one is made of maple and cut so the pieces are full length. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship which I discovered online. A man in Oregon made this in his backyard. Amazing. I had it made thicker than some and wish I had made it even thicker. I love that chunky look of a good piece of wood.
