Eupatorium purpureum Joe Pye Weed at Phipps Conservatory, Pittsburgh, PA is a native of Eastern North America. A late summer bloomer which grows 4-7' tall, is distinguished by large pink-purplish flower heads and can be seen along roadsides, meadows or in stately perennial gardens.
