Family Friendly Kithcen

Problem: Two long narrow rooms divided this family's home into two cramped, dark spaces. In the kitchen a cooktop and seating area competed for space while a small cluttered desk took center stage. Solution: The removal of the main wall between the living room, dining room and kitchen created more light and space. The new island now separates the cooking and seating area and is topped with a stunning granite. A new buffet area with an innovative family desk is now located in a previously unused area and easily houses the daily workings for each family member.
