Historic Roland Park
The firm has been involved in several additions and renovations to this house over a number of years. The first addition was built partially on top of the foundation of a previous contemporary addition to the house. The program included a family room, a billiard room, a changing room/bathroom and kitchenette to serve the pool, a master bathroom and dressing areas, as well as an exercise room on the second fl oor. The focal point of the family room is a fireplace and entertainment unit that forms an arched clerestory window, that opens the room to the outdoors visually, while concealing the existing mechanical units located immediately beyond on the exterior.
