The exterior of this home had been neglected for years; there were missing and broken gutters ans siding, numerous wasp nests and worn and outdated stain colors. The fieldstone half wall was in sore need of attention; many of the ledges were separated from the stone work and allowing water in behind the stone, the areas that met the windows were chipped and separated, years of stacking wood next to the house had left dark mildew stains on the front of the house. The bushes and weeds had overgrown the sidewalk and patios; and the roof was leaking and curling. The only option was to start at the top and work our way down!
