Island Estates Custom Home
This home was stuck in the 1980's, with an overhead walkway running right through the middle of the living room. The lines throughout the home were rounded with a heavy Greek influence - for instance, the dining space on the left was formerly a raised, rounded dais complete with Greek columns. After re-designing the space to make it transition from a traditional to modern style, we completely gutted the home and remodeled it from top to bottom. Part of the project included the construction of a set of modern stairs to replace the walkway that led from the upstairs master bedroom (left) to the guest bedroom (right). The result is a much more open space, with cleaner, more unified flow lines. We also installed new Origin Doors to lead to the pool overlooking the Intracoastal.
