Most people hate cutting what might seem like an acre of lawn every week. Some people can't grow grass because of shady areas. Groundcovers offer an excellent alternative to lawns. It stays green longer, giving the appearance of a healthy, green landscape and doesn't have to be cut every week. Most groundcovers spread quickly too and some varieties even offer small seasonal flowers.
