A different approach to a broken concrete sidewalk.
The pavers were placed over the sidewalk which had many cracks and looked horrible. Due to budget constraints, we left the sidewalk in place and placed the pavers over the top. This created a solid base. We filled the gaps with mulch and dressed with plants to soften the look.
The front bed was full of overgrown hedges that were over 10' tall. They dominated the house and threw off the scale by diminutizing the house. We took them out, squared off the bed and leveled it with stone work. We replanted it using lower growing perennials. Now you can see the house. We made an additional recommendation to detail the geometric features on the garage to add detail to a face that looked like a warehouse.
