Lowrey Residence
This 1780's farm house was run down and almost torn down. City of Fairfax made the developer of the property save the house. They hired us to help them to save it. We were able to talk Fairfax into allowing us to build a new structure around the original structure. we lifted the house and built a new foundation to replace the stones and rotted log foundation. We exposed the original log structure in several rooms. The inner courtyard brings light to all spaces.
