Mahogany Forest

Bright French Bistro inspired kitchen for a couple that loves to cook and their little cat too! This kitchen is a very narrow space, and was very cramped and dark. We opened it up, creating a galley type space with an island instead of a second wall of cabinetry. This enables our wonderful clients to work on either side of the island freely. One side of the island is wider, with narrower cabinets on the wall, to accommodate two bar stools and a small eating area. We loved this bright space, and the vibe created by using a mix of materials in the white shaker cabinets and more rustic wood island. Matching stone countertops keep the space cohesive, while the shiny gray subway tile is both pretty and easily kept clean. Lemons and a few greens top off the space, inviting sun and spring and a little Mediterranean vibe!

I like the sink. And the cabinet hardware isn't bad either. Not the tap though. hate the tap
