Meadow Lane Residence
The addition and renovation was done carefully to seamlessly integrate the new design with the existing character of the home. The shifted double island kitchen creates different “zones” that allow for an efficient space that works as well for 2 people as a large crowd. The kitchen’s white, furniture-styled cabinetry and marble countertops work to bring the modern aspects of the home together with the historic character. The home is carefully laid out to allow for views across rooms, feeling as open as possible and connecting the home to the outdoors. A bead-board coffered ceiling accentuates the main kitchen space, while a large custom steel window and French doors connect the kitchen to the covered patio.
