Miller Dining Room

When you can't stand to be in your own dining room because the decor is just NOT your style, you know it's time to do something! After completing their Master Bathroom Remodel last year, this couple decided the last major area of the home that needed to be addressed was the dining room. Situated between the kitchen and living room, this space just did not flow. We removed the dated, formal wall paper and window treatments, and added a arched pass-thru opening in the wall above the kitchen sink to bring in more light and better connect the spaces. We added contemporary elegance to the space by adding trim work and painting the doors, trim, and wainscotting a rich espresso brown. The bamboo roman shades add a casual feel and also offer much needed light control for a couple that both work rotating shifts.
