This Melrose Park, IL project started with new flooring throughout the first floor, a perfect opportunity to update the kitchen. Working with a palette of white, cream and tan, the client chose Kemper Cabinetry in white to contrast with the mid-tones of the flooring. The walls were kept light, as was the tile backsplash, so this small space would feel light and airy. The granite unifies the kitchen and the home’s décor with a mid-tone brown base, and touches of cream and sable.
This petite space is filled with modern storage options, including a slim pantry and a new seating area to enjoy a cup of coffee. The original bi-fold pantry doors were removed and replaced with matching tall doors, unifying the space. Furnishings and accessories complete this fresh color scheme.
