The Ponderosa Lodge majestically commands attention as you cross the bridge leading up to the property. Made of hand-crafted Douglas Fir logs brought in from British Columbia, the scale of the lodge is in keeping with the site. Even the roof lines of the lodge mimic the Blue Ridge Mountains that surround it. All of the full masonry fireplaces are made from natural stone harvested in North Georgia. Each of the four bedrooms has an adjacent bathroom. With two full kitchens, entertaining is a pleasure. You can easily imagine you are in the Rockies as you sit on the porches and decks of the Ponderosa Lodge.
