Privacy Feature Screens for Queensland Beach House
Over-sized, custom privacy screens for a Luxurious Gold Coast residence. The design process of this project was quite complicated as numerous options were considered before deciding upon the final layout and size of each panel. Due to the size of the openings (approx. 2300 wide, close to 8000mm height), we first considered filling these spaces with smaller, horizontal screens as the sizes exceeded our 'standard' screen maximum sizes. We explored the various layouts and a variety of designs which would provide privacy, whilst allowing ample light in, and the breeze to flow through. By working through these options, and factoring in the scale and proportions of the home, the outcome became obvious. Three screens, created from custom, over-sized panels. What would have been an open area to the garden, the lower level screen has created a designated spaces.
